This property occupies Lot 55 of the Woodland Golf Club Subdivision. The golf course was the first private country club in Hamilton County, opening ca. 1955. House construction began in the early- to mid-1950s with the majority of the lots filled by 1974. Additional houses were built in the 1980s. Various housing types and styles are present in the subdivision, with the ranch type predominating.

This is a 1-story, 6-bay residential building in the Neomediterranean style built in 1955. The structural system is balloon frame. The foundation is concrete. Exterior walls are stucco. The building has a low side gable roof clad in replacement asphalt shingles. The roof features a wide, protruding cross gable with exposed rafters on the front facade covering the attached garage and a recessed entry porch. There is one offset right, exterior, brick chimney. Windows are replacement vinyl casements. The side gabled portion of the house is clad in brick veneer. The entry porch is located under the southern portion of the cross gable. The gable is supported on the south by large tapered posts.
