This is a 2-story, 5-bay house in the Federal style built ca. 1840. The structural system is masonry. The foundation is stone. Exterior walls are original brick and original brick. The building has a side gable roof clad in replacement asphalt shingles with open cornice. There are two offset left, front and rear slope, brick chimneys and two offset right, front and rear slope chimneys. Typical of Federal style architecture the house features a pair of brick chimneys at each end of the house. Windows are original wood, 4/4 double-hung sashes. There is a two-story, full-span portico characterized by a flat roof clad in rubberized/asphalt composite with round wood posts on square concrete piers. The façade features a full-length portico. There is a single-story, side, brick enclosed porch addition. The owner built an enclosed porch on the side of the house The primary entryway is located in the center of the façade.
