Architectural Description:

This is a 2-story, 5-bay house in the Federal style built in 1855. The building is irregular in plan. The structural system is masonry. Exterior walls are original brick. The building has a low hip roof clad in modern asphalt shingles with box cornice and dentil moulding. End chimneys. Windows are original wood, 6/6 double-hung sashes. Wooden lintels and stone sills. There is a two-story, single-bay central open porch characterized by a flat roof with square wood posts on square wood piers. Elaborate porch on upper story with diamond and circle pattern. Round finials adorn corner posts. Historic paneled wood door (modern screen door) with four pane sidelights. A row of small dentils separated the door from its seven-pane transom. There is a two-story, rear, brick addition.
