Historical Summary:

Two-story brick building between 1923 and 1931 Sanborn. The 1931 Sanborn says “Auto Sales & Service.” The 1934 City Directory lists “Yeary Bros” as an Automobile Dealer on Lothbury Ave. Later “Wakin’s Hardware” was located here. The company registered to do business in Kentucky on December 19, 1966. They continued to be at this location through at least the late 1980s. The tornado that passed through town destroyed the one-story storage unit to the west of their building.

Today the building is vacant.

Architectural Description:

This is a 2-story commercial building. Exterior walls are original brick and original brick. The building has a flat with parapet roof.
