The house has a side gambrel roof with double dominant gabled dormers to increase living space. The north side is accented with a large arched window. Large two-story bay on the south which was added after 1917 and a one-story bay on the north.
The home of Seward M. Gunderson and family from 1906 until Seward's death in 1950. The house is featured on pages 5 and 7 of "The New Book of Gunderson Standard Homes" brochure published in 1908.

This is a 3-story single-family residence in the Dutch Colonial Revival style built in 1906. The structural system is frame. The foundation is stone. Exterior walls are original wood siding and original wood shingles. Wood banding and decorative trim. The building has a gambrel roof clad in replacement asphalt shingles and four gabled dormers. Two front facing gabled dormers and a north and south facing gabled dormer, side and rear gambrel roofs. Windows are original wood, 8/1 double-hung sashes. Also 6-over-1 double-hung wood windows. Art glass windows with geometric patterns in front door side lights and on the north and south side first floor. There is a single-story, wrap-around open porch characterized by a flat roof with round wood posts. The front porch, which was previously altered and enclosed, was restored to its original appearance in 2012. There is a two-story, side, frame addition. Two-story bay added after 1917.
