General Remarks:
This house appears to have a modern concrete front steps. The lower half of the facade is clad with stone veneer and the gable end of the hip roof is clad with modern vinyl siding. This building is historic but substantially different in terms of design, materials, and workmanship from the majority of other residential structures in this area. It would not contribute to a potential residential historic district whose period of significance did not extend beyond the 1930s. In this area of Oak Park the predominant period of development and building activity extends to the 1930s.
