Prairie School
600 N Ridgeland Ave (originally N 64th Ave) is a contributing building within the Frank Lloyd Wright-Prairie School of Architecture Historic District. The house was built by owner/builder Harry F. Broton in 1916. The associated garage/coach house was demolished in 1990. The house originally had a green tile roof that was replaced with architectural shingle in 2019.

This is a 2-story single-family residence in the Prairie School style built in 1916. The building is rectangular in plan. The structural system is masonry. Exterior walls are original brick. Stone sills. The building has a hip roof clad in original clay tiles and one arched dormer. There is one side right, side slope, brick chimney and one side left, side slope, brick chimney. Windows are original wood, 4-light casements. There is a single-story, wrap-around open porch characterized by a hip roof clad in clay tiles with square brick posts. Historic wood door with glazing in decorative stone surround.
