The front door, wide pine floors, mantel piece in the morning room, interior doors, and the entrance hall reportedly came from the original Governor's mansion in Tallahassee, Fla. The slate roof came from the Vereen Home in Moultrie. (Heritage Tour of Homes catalog )

This is a 1-story house in the Greek Revival style built in 1956. The structural system is balloon frame. The foundation is continuous brick. Exterior walls are original brick. The building has a medium side gable roof clad in modern asphalt shingles. Original roof featured slate tiles.
