Architectural Description:

This is a 3-story, 7-bay domestic building in the Art Deco style built in 1939. The building is u in plan. The structural system is concrete block stucco. The foundation is spread footing. Exterior walls are original stucco and original coral stone. Coral stone material accents central bay on primary and southern facade as well as height of first floor with a horizontal band; Same coral material ornaments the porch. The building has a flat with parapet roof. Very slight ziggurat roofline; Parapet roof. Windows are replacement aluminum casements. Windows rounded at the corners of the building to follow the form of the building. There is a single-story, wrap-around open porch characterized by an integrated (under the main) roof with round stone posts. Porch spans the full length of the primary facade and wraps around slightly onto the southern facade of the building; Porch railing uses the same coral stone that appears on the facade of the building and is patterned by rectangular pillars; Support columns on the porch are finished in the same coral stone material. Primary entryway is unornamented; Tri-colored terrazzo floor adorns primary entryway both outside and inside; Located at center of east elevation.
