One of only two known Sears kit homes in Columbia.
This is a 1.5-story bungalow single-family residence in the Bungalow/craftsman style built in 1928. The foundation is poured concrete. The building has a medium side gable roof clad in modern asphalt shingles with box cornice. Large central dormer on front elevation. There is one center, rear slope, brick chimney. All of the windows have been replaced (sometime after 2001). There is a single-story, full-span veranda characterized by an integrated (under the main) roof with paired wood posts on battered stuccoed piers.
