This is a 2-story, 5-bay domestic building in the Federal style with Georgian influences built in the period 1840-1849. The building is square in plan. The structural system is masonry. The foundation is stone. Exterior walls are original brick. The building has a low hip roof clad in replacement asphalt shingles with flush eaves. The house has interior brick chimneys at the front gable ends and a third interior brick chimney at the rear. Windows are replacement wood, 6/6 double-hung sashes. There is a single-story, three-bay portico characterized by a hip roof clad in asphalt shingles with square wood posts. The porch has a center gabled peak and is capped by a wooden baluster.
